Integrative Psychotherapy
Integrative psychotherapy combines theoretical tools deliberately to fit client need rather than forcing one school. Common factors, relationship, and formulation are central. It does not diagnose.
The clinician links multiple models into a coherent case story; interventions shift with formulation and phase.
Flexibility is strength, not random eclecticism; supervision guards coherence.
Reports may need to state which language dominates.
Automated diagnosis or single-protocol mandates misalign with integrative ethics.
In PsychSupervisor, integrative selection presents linked themes in formulation as decision support.
How it appears in the app
In PsychSupervisor you choose Integrative Psychotherapy as the theoretical frame when opening a case; the session transcript is read through that lens. The report is organised under five standard headings: Session Overview Summary, Developmental Assessment, Session Evaluation, Theory-Based Evaluation of Therapist Interventions, and Recommended Therapy Plan. After speaker roles are assigned, text is structured in the selected approach; evidence-mode sections stay tied to the transcript, while narrative-mode sections may summarise flow. Outputs support supervision and record-keeping as clinical decision support; they do not assign diagnoses, prescribe medication, or replace emergency care. The clinician verifies the transcript and retains final clinical judgment.
